Patient History. Angela Klein is an 18-year-old, female college student. You are the medical professional that first sees her in the office. Angela states, "My right shoulder and arm hurt. It's been painful for about 3 months. I can't take it any longer." Angela is right-handed. The pain extends down through the 4th and 5th digits of her hand; periodic numbness and tingling in the same distribution. Pain is slowly getting worse; intermittent and exacerbated with handwriting.
