Pharmaceutical Biotechnology is an undergraduate
student level course that provides a comprehensive introduction to the
fast-moving area of biopharmaceuticals. It encompasses an
understanding of therapeutic targets and the fundamental mechanisms and applications
of biomolecules and novel drug delivery systems. It is the application of this
knowledge which enables the discovery, development and manufacture of
innovative products that have the potential to improve and extend life.
